Chapter 31
Prov DRC 31:1  The words of king Lamuel. The vision wherewith his mother instructed him.
Prov KJV 31:1  The words of king Lemuel, the prophecy that his mother taught him.
Prov VulgClem 31:1  Verba Lamuelis regis. Visio qua erudivit eum mater sua.
Prov DRC 31:2  What, O my beloved, what, O the beloved of my womb, what, O the beloved of my vows?
Prov KJV 31:2  What, my son? and what, the son of my womb? and what, the son of my vows?
Prov VulgClem 31:2  Quid, dilecte mi ? quid, dilecte uteri mei ? quid, dilecte votorum meorum ?
Prov DRC 31:3  Give not thy substance to women, and thy riches to destroy kings.
Prov KJV 31:3  Give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings.
Prov VulgClem 31:3  Ne dederis mulieribus substantiam tuam, et divitias tuas ad delendos reges.
Prov DRC 31:4  Give not to kings, O Lamuel, give not wine to kings: because there is no secret where drunkenness reigneth:
Prov KJV 31:4  It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink:
Prov VulgClem 31:4  Noli regibus, o Lamuel, noli regibus dare vinum, quia nullum secretum est ubi regnat ebrietas ;
Prov DRC 31:5  And lest they drink and forget judgments, and pervert the cause of the children of the poor.
