23:1  Now these are David's last words. David the son of Isai said: The man to whom it was appointed concerning the Christ of the God of Jacob, the excellent psalmist of Israel said:

23:5  I když můj dům před Bohem takový není, ustanovil pro mne věčnou smlouvu ve všem uspořádanou a dodrženou. Je to veškerá má spása a veškeré blaho, odjinud nevzejde nic.

23:5  Kdyby můj dům před Bohem tak nestál, což by mi věčnou smlouvu dal, cele platnou a stvrzenou? Všechnu tu spásu, všechno to blaho by rozkvést nenechal!

23:5  Není takový můj dům před Bohem? Vždyť se mnou učinil věčnou smlouvu ve všem připravenou a zachovanou. Všechna má záchrana, všechno, po čem toužím -- nezpůsobí on, aby to vyrašilo?

23:5  Tak zajisté dům můj před Bohem; nebo smlouvu věčnou učinil se mnou, kteráž všelijak upevněna a ostříhána bude. A toť jest všecko mé spasení a všeliká útěcha, že nic tak vzdělávati se nebude.

23:7  Ten, kdo by se ho chtěl dotknout, vezme železo, násadu kopí. Budou sežehnuti a spáleni ohněm ve svém sídle.“

23:9  After him was Eleazar the son of Dodo the Ahohite, one of the three valiant men that were with David when they defied the Philistines, and they were there gathered together to battle.

23:9  And after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo the Ahohite, one of the three mighty men with David, when they defied the Philistines that were there gathered together to battle, and the men of Israel were gone away:

23:9  And after him [was] Eleazar the son of Dodo the Ahohite, [one] of the three mighty men with David, when they defied the Philistines [that] were there assembled to battle, and the men of Israel had gone away:

23:10  And when the men of Israel were gone away, he stood and smote the Philistines till his hand was weary, and grew stiff with the sword: and the Lord wrought a great victory that day: and the people that were fled away, returned to take spoils of them that were slain.

23:10  Povstal a bil Pelištejce, až se mu ruka unavila a křečovitě svírala meč. Toho dne připravil Hospodin veliké vysvobození. Lid se obrátil za ním a už jen obíral pobité.

23:10  tehdy vstal a pobíjel Filištíny, až mu ruka ztuhla, že nemohl pustit meč. Lid jen postupoval za ním a obíral pobité. Hospodin toho dne způsobil veliké vítězství.

23:10  on vstal a pobíjel Pelištejce, až ⌈se jeho ruka unavila a přilnula k meči.⌉ Hospodin ⌈způsobil v onen den velkou záchranu.⌉ Lid se pak za ním vrátil, jen aby raboval.

23:10  Ten vstav, bil Filistinské, až ustala ruka jeho a ostála se při meči. V ten den zajisté učinil Hospodin vysvobození veliké, tak že se lid za ním navrátil, toliko aby kořisti vzebral.

23:10  He arose, and smote the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand adhered to the sword: and the LORD wrought a great victory that day; and the people returned after him only to plunder.

23:12  On se postavil doprostřed toho dílu, osvobodil jej a bil Pelištejce. Tak Hospodin připravil veliké vysvobození.

23:12  Avšak on se postavil uprostřed toho pole, vysvobodil ho a pobíjel Pelištejce. Hospodin ⌈způsobil velkou záchranu.⌉

23:12  Tedy postavil se u prostřed dílu toho, a vysvobodil jej, a porazil Filistinské. I učinil Hospodin vysvobození veliké.

23:13  Jiní tři ze třiceti vůdců sestoupili a přišli o žních k Davidovi do jeskyně Adulámu. Pelištejský houf ležel v dolině Refájců.

23:16  Ti tři bohatýři vtrhli do pelištejského tábora, načerpali vodu z betlémské studny, která je u brány, a přinesli ji Davidovi. On však nechtěl pít, nýbrž vykonal jí úlitbu Hospodinu.

23:16  A tak se ta trojice hrdinů probila do filištínského tábora a navážila vodu z betlémské studny u brány. Vzali ji a donesli Davidovi. Ten se jí ale odmítl napít, ale vylil ji jako oběť Hospodinu.
