108:1  Unto the end, a psalm for David.

108:1  O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.

108:1  Píseň a žalm Davidův. Hotovo jest srdce mé, Bože, zpívati a oslavovati tě budu, také i sláva má.

108:2  O God, be not thou silent in my praise: for the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful man is opened against me.

108:2  Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.

108:2  Mé srdce je připraveno, Bože, budu zpívat, prozpěvovat žalmy, rovněž moje sláva!

108:2  Mé srdce je, Bože, připraveno, celou duší chci zpívat a hrát.

108:2  Mé srdce je pevné, Bože, budu zpívat, pět budu žalmy -- i má sláva.

108:2  Probuď se loutno a harfo, když v svitání povstávám.

108:2  Deus, laudem meam ne tacueris, quia os peccatoris et os dolosi super me apertum est.

108:3  They have spoken against me with deceitful tongues; and they have compassed me about with words of hatred; and have fought against me without cause.

108:3  I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.

108:3  Probuď se už, citaro a harfo, ať jitřenku vzbudím.

108:3  Probuď se konečně, loutno a citero, ať vzbudím ranní zář!

108:3  Probuď se, harfo a lyro, ať jitřenku vzbudím!

108:3  Slaviti tě budu mezi lidmi, Hospodine, a tobě žalmy prozpěvovati mezi národy.

108:3  Locuti sunt adversum me lingua dolosa, et sermonibus odii circumdederunt me : et expugnaverunt me gratis.

108:4  Instead of making me a return of love, they detracted me: but I gave myself to prayer.

108:4  For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds.

108:4  Hospodine, chci ti mezi lidmi vzdávat chválu, mezi národy ti budu zpívat žalmy;

108:4  Chválit tě, Hospodine, chci mezi lidmi, chci ti hrát žalmy uprostřed národů:

108:4  Budu ti vzdávat chválu mezi lidmi, Hospodine, budu tě opěvovat mezi národy,

108:4  Nebo nad nebesa větší jest milosrdenství tvé, a až k nejvyšším oblakům pravda tvá.

108:4  Pro eo ut me diligerent, detrahebant mihi ; ego autem orabam.

108:5  And they repaid me evil for good: and hatred for my love.

108:5  Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;

108:5  vždyť tvé milosrdenství nad nebe sahá, až do mraků tvoje věrnost.

108:5  Tvá láska sahá výše než k nebi, tvá věrnost vzhůru k oblakům.

108:5  protože tvé milosrdenství je velké, sahá až nad nebesa a až do oblak tvá věrnost.

108:5  Vyvyšiž se nad nebesa, ó Bože, a nade všecku zemi sláva tvá.

108:5  Et posuerunt adversum me mala pro bonis, et odium pro dilectione mea.

108:6  Set thou the sinner over him: and may the devil stand at his right hand.

108:6  That thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me.

108:6  Povznes se až nad nebesa, Bože, a nad celou zemí ať je tvoje sláva!

108:6  Zvedni se, Bože, nad nebe, svou slávou přikryj celou zem!

108:6  Vyvyš se nad nebesa, Bože! Tvá sláva je po vší zemi.

108:6  Ať jsou vysvobozeni milí tvoji, zachovávejž je pravicí svou, a vyslyš mne.

108:6  Constitue super eum peccatorem, et diabolus stet a dextris ejus.

108:7  When he is judged, may he go out condemned; and may his prayer be turned to sin.

108:7  God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

108:7  Aby tvoji milí byli zachováni, pomoz svou pravicí, odpověz mi!

108:7  Ať jsou zachráněni ti, jež miluješ, pomoz svou pravicí, vyslyš mě!

108:7  Aby byli vysvobozeni ti, které miluješ, zachraň nás svou pravicí, odpověz mi!

108:7  Bůh mluvil skrze svatost svou; veseliti se budu, že budu děliti Sichem, a údolí Sochot že rozměřím.

108:7  Cum judicatur, exeat condemnatus ; et oratio ejus fiat in peccatum.

108:8  May his days be few: and his bishopric let another take.

108:8  Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;

108:8  Bůh ve své svatyni promluvil: „S jásotem rozdělím Šekem, rozměřím dolinu Sukót.

108:8  Bůh promluvil ve své svatosti: „Vítězně Šechem rozdělím, údolí Sukot si rozměřím.

108:8  Bůh promluvil ve své svatyni: Budu jásat, rozdělím Šekem, rozměřím údolí Sukót.

108:8  Můjť jest Galád, můj i Manasses, a Efraim síla hlavy mé, Juda učitel můj.

108:8  Fiant dies ejus pauci, et episcopatum ejus accipiat alter.

108:9  May his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.

108:9  Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.

108:9  Mně patří Gileád, mně patří Manases, Efrajim, přilba mé hlavy, Juda, můj palcát.

108:9  Můj je Gileád, můj je Manases, Efraim je má helma, Juda žezlo mé,

108:9  Můj je Gileád, můj je i Manases, Efrajim -- přilba mé hlavy a Juda můj palcát.

108:9  Moáb medenice k umývání mému, na Edoma uvrhu obuv svou, proti Palestině troubiti budu.

108:9  Fiant filii ejus orphani, et uxor ejus vidua.

108:10  Let his children be carried about vagabonds, and beg; and let them be cast out of their dwellings.

108:10  Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?

108:10  Moáb je mé umývadlo, na Edóm hodím svůj střevíc, proti Pelišteji válečný ryk spustím.“

108:10  Moáb za umyvadlo slouží mi, na Edom sandál odhodím, nad Filištíny vítězně zakřičím!“

108:10  Moáb je mé umývadlo, na Edóm hodím svůj sandál, nad Pelišteou vítězně zakřičím!

108:10  Kdo mne uvede do města hrazeného? Kdo mne zprovodí až do Idumejské země?

108:10  Nutantes transferantur filii ejus et mendicent, et ejiciantur de habitationibus suis.

108:11  May the usurer search all his substance: and let strangers plunder his labours.

108:11  Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts?

108:11  Kdože mě uvede do nepřístupného města? Kdo mě dovedl až do Edómu?

108:11  Kdo mě doprovodí do hrazeného města? Kdo mě do Edomu povede?

108:11  Kdo mě přivede do opevněného města? Kdo mě dovede do Edómu?

108:11  Zdali ne ty, ó Bože, kterýž jsi nás byl zavrhl, a nevycházels, ó Bože, s vojsky našimi?

108:11  Scrutetur fœnerator omnem substantiam ejus, et diripiant alieni labores ejus.

108:12  May there be none to help him: nor none to pity his fatherless offspring.

108:12  Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

108:12  Což ne, Bože, ty, jenž zanevřel jsi na nás? Což s našimi zástupy bys nevytáhl, Bože?

108:12  Kdo jiný než ty, Bože, jenž zavrhls nás, ty, Bože, jenž s našimi šiky netáhneš?

108:12  Zdali ne ty, Bože? Odvrhls nás, Bože, a nevycházíš s naší armádou.

108:12  Uděliž nám pomoci proti nepříteli, nebo marná jest pomoc lidská.

108:12  Non sit illi adjutor, nec sit qui misereatur pupillis ejus.

108:13  May his posterity be cut off; in one generation may his name be blotted out.

108:13  Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.

108:13  Před protivníkem buď naše pomoc, je šalebné čekat spásu od člověka.

108:13  Pomoz nám prosím proti nepříteli, záchrana od člověka je přece nicotná.

108:13  Zajisti nám pomoc proti protivníkům, vždyť lidská záchrana je klamná!

108:13  V Bohu udatně sobě počínati budeme, a on pošlapá nepřátely naše.

108:13  Fiant nati ejus in interitum ; in generatione una deleatur nomen ejus.

108:14  May the iniquity of his fathers be remembered in the sight of the Lord: and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.

108:14  S Bohem statečně si povedeme, on rozšlape naše protivníky.

108:14  S Bohem však jistě udatně zvítězíme – on naše nepřátele rozdupá!

108:14  S Bohem si budeme počínat udatně, on pošlape naše protivníky.

108:14  In memoriam redeat iniquitas patrum ejus in conspectu Domini, et peccatum matris ejus non deleatur.

108:15  May they be before the Lord continually, and let the memory of them perish from the earth:

108:15  Fiant contra Dominum semper, et dispereat de terra memoria eorum :

108:16  because he remembered not to shew mercy,

108:16  pro eo quod non est recordatus facere misericordiam,

108:17  But persecuted the poor man and the beggar; and the broken in heart, to put him to death.

108:17  et persecutus est hominem inopem et mendicum, et compunctum corde, mortificare.

108:18  And he loved cursing, and it shall come unto him: and he would not have blessing, and it shall be far from him. And he put on cursing, like a garment: and it went in like water into his entrails, and like oil in his bones.

108:18  Et dilexit maledictionem, et veniet ei ; et noluit benedictionem, et elongabitur ab eo. Et induit maledictionem sicut vestimentum ; et intravit sicut aqua in interiora ejus, et sicut oleum in ossibus ejus.

108:19  May it be unto him like a garment which covereth him; and like a girdle with which he is girded continually.

108:19  Fiat ei sicut vestimentum quo operitur, et sicut zona qua semper præcingitur.

108:20  This is the work of them who detract me before the Lord; and who speak evils against my soul.

108:20  Hoc opus eorum qui detrahunt mihi apud Dominum, et qui loquuntur mala adversus animam meam.

108:21  But thou, O Lord, do with me for thy name's sake: because thy mercy is sweet. Do thou deliver me,

108:21  Et tu, Domine, Domine, fac mecum propter nomen tuum, quia suavis est misericordia tua.

108:22  For I am poor and needy, and my heart is troubled within me.

108:22  Libera me, quia egenus et pauper ego sum, et cor meum conturbatum est intra me.

108:23  I am taken away like the shadow when it declineth: and I am shaken off as locusts.

108:23  Sicut umbra cum declinat ablatus sum, et excussus sum sicut locustæ.

108:24  My knees are weakened through fasting: and my flesh is changed for oil.

108:24  Genua mea infirmata sunt a jejunio, et caro mea immutata est propter oleum.

108:25  And I am become a reproach to them: they saw me and they shaked their heads.

108:25  Et ego factus sum opprobrium illis ; viderunt me, et moverunt capita sua.

108:26  Help me, O Lord my God; save me; according to thy mercy.

108:26  Adjuva me, Domine Deus meus ; salvum me fac secundum misericordiam tuam.

108:27  And let them know that this is thy hand: and that thou, O Lord, hast done it.

108:27  Et sciant quia manus tua hæc, et tu, Domine, fecisti eam.

108:28  They will curse and thou wilt bless: let them that rise up against me be confounded: but thy servant shall rejoice.

108:28  Maledicent illi, et tu benedices : qui insurgunt in me confundantur ; servus autem tuus lætabitur.

108:29  Let them that detract me be clothed with shame: and let them be covered with their confusion as with a double cloak.

108:29  Induantur qui detrahunt mihi pudore, et operiantur sicut diploide confusione sua.

108:30  I will give great thanks to the Lord with my mouth: and in the midst of many I will praise him.

108:30  Confitebor Domino nimis in ore meo, et in medio multorum laudabo eum :

108:31  Because he hath stood at the right hand of the poor, to save my soul from persecutors.

108:31  quia astitit a dextris pauperis, ut salvam faceret a persequentibus animam meam.
