Chapter 109
Psal DRC 109:1  A psalm for David. The Lord said to my Lord: Sit thou at my right hand: Until I make thy enemies thy footstool.
Psal KJV 109:1  Hold not thy peace, O God of my praise;
Psal VulgClem 109:1  Psalmus David. Dixit Dominus Domino meo : Sede a dextris meis, donec ponam inimicos tuos scabellum pedum tuorum.
Psal DRC 109:2  The Lord will send forth the sceptre of thy power out of Sion: rule thou in the midst of thy enemies.
Psal KJV 109:2  For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.
Psal VulgClem 109:2  Virgam virtutis tuæ emittet Dominus ex Sion : dominare in medio inimicorum tuorum.
Psal DRC 109:3  With thee is the principality in the day of thy strength: in the brightness of the saints: from the womb before the day star I begot thee.
Psal KJV 109:3  They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.

Psal DRC 109:4  The Lord hath sworn, and he will not repent: Thou art a priest for ever according to the order of Melchisedech.
Psal KJV 109:4  For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer.
Psal VulgClem 109:4  Juravit Dominus, et non pœnitebit eum : Tu es sacerdos in æternum secundum ordinem Melchisedech.
Psal DRC 109:5  The Lord at thy right hand hath broken kings in the day of his wrath.
Psal KJV 109:5  And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.

Psal DRC 109:6  He shall judge among nations, he shall fill ruins: he shall crush the heads in the land of many.

Psal KJV 109:15  Let them be before the Lord continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.

Psal KJV 109:16  Because that he remembered not to shew mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart.

Psal KJV 109:17  As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him.

Psal KJV 109:18  As he clothed himself with cursing like as with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones.
