Chapter 3
Mark Worsley 3:1  And He went another time into a synagogue, where there was a man that had a withered hand:
Mark Worsley 3:2  and they watched Him, whether He would heal him on the sabbath-day, that they might accuse Him.
Mark Worsley 3:3  And He said to the man, that had the withered hand, Rise up into the midst:
Mark Worsley 3:4  then saith He to them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? but they were silent.
Mark Worsley 3:5  And when He had looked round upon them with indignation, being grieved at the hardness of their hearts, He saith to the man, Stretch out thine hand: and he stretched it out, and his hand was made as sound as the other.
Mark Worsley 3:6  And the pharisees went out, and immediately took counsel with the Herodians against Him, how to destroy Him:
Mark Worsley 3:7  but Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the sea.
Mark Worsley 3:8  And a great multitude from Galilee followed Him, and from Judea, and from Jerusalem, and from Idumea, and from beyond Jordan; and those about Tyre and Sidon, a great number, hearing how great things He did, came unto Him.
Mark Worsley 3:9  Therefore He spake to his disciples, that there might be a small vessel attending Him, because of the multitude, least they should throng Him: for He had healed many,
Mark Worsley 3:10  so that whoever had any maladies, crouded upon Him to touch Him.
Mark Worsley 3:11  And impure spirits, when they saw Him, fell down before Him, and cried out, saying, Thou art the Son of God:
Mark Worsley 3:12  but He strictly charged them not to make Him known.
Mark Worsley 3:13  Then going up into a mountain, He calleth for such as He saw fit, and they came to Him:
Mark Worsley 3:14  and He appointed twelve to be with Him, and that He might send them forth to preach the gospel,
Mark Worsley 3:15  and to have power to heal diseases, and to cast out demons;
Mark Worsley 3:17  and James the Son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James, (and He surnamed them Boanerges, which is to say, Sons of thunder,) and Andrew,
Mark Worsley 3:18  and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alpheus, and Thaddeus,
Mark Worsley 3:19  and Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, even him who betrayed Him.
Mark Worsley 3:20  And they went into a house, and the multitude came together again, so that they could not so much as eat.
Mark Worsley 3:21  And when his friends heard of it, they went out to lay hold on Him; for they said He spends Himself too much.
Mark Worsley 3:22  And the scribes that came down from Jerusalem said, He is in league with Beelzebub, and casts out demons by the help of the prince of demons.
Mark Worsley 3:23  So He called them to Him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan?
Mark Worsley 3:24  If a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand:
Mark Worsley 3:25  and if a family be divided against itself, that family cannot stand: and if Satan oppose himself and be divided,
Mark Worsley 3:27  No one can enter into the house of a strong man, and plunder his goods; unless he first bind the strong man, and then he may pillage his house.
Mark Worsley 3:28  Verily I tell you, that all sins shall be forgiven to the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith they may blaspheme:
Mark Worsley 3:29  but whosoever blasphemeth against the holy Ghost never hath forgiveness, but is liable to eternal damnation:
Mark Worsley 3:31  So his brethren and his mother came, and standing without sent to Him to call Him to them:
Mark Worsley 3:32  and there was a multitude sitting about Him, and they said to Him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren are without inquiring for thee.
Mark Worsley 3:33  And He answered them, and said, Who is my mother, or my brethren?
Mark Worsley 3:34  And looking round on those that sat about Him, He said, Behold my mother, and my brethren:
Mark Worsley 3:35  for whosoever doth the will of God, he is to me as my brother, my sister, and mother.
