Chapter 26
Exod DRC 26:1  And thou shalt make the tabernacle in this manner: Thou shalt make ten curtains of fine twisted linen, and violet and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, diversified with embroidery.
Exod VulgClem 26:1  Tabernaculum vero ita facies : decem cortinas de bysso retorta, et hyacintho, ac purpura, coccoque bis tincto, variatas opere plumario facies.
Exod KJV 26:1  Moreover thou shalt make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work shalt thou make them.
Exod DRC 26:2  The length of one curtain shall be twenty-eight cubits; the breadth shall be four cubits. All the curtains shall be of one measure.
Exod VulgClem 26:2  Longitudo cortinæ unius habebit viginti octo cubitos : latitudo, quatuor cubitorum erit. Unius mensuræ fient universa tentoria.
Exod KJV 26:2  The length of one curtain shall be eight and twenty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: and every one of the curtains shall have one measure.
Exod DRC 26:3  Five curtains shall be joined one to another, and the other five shall be coupled together in like manner.
Exod VulgClem 26:3  Quinque cortinæ sibi jungentur mutuo, et aliæ quinque nexu simili cohærebunt.
Exod KJV 26:3  The five curtains shall be coupled together one to another; and other five curtains shall be coupled one to another.
Exod DRC 26:4  Thou shalt make loops of violet in the sides and tops of the curtains, that they may be joined one to another.
Exod VulgClem 26:4  Ansulas hyacinthinas in lateribus ac summitatibus facies cortinarum, ut possint invicem copulari.
Exod KJV 26:4  And thou shalt make loops of blue upon the edge of the one curtain from the selvedge in the coupling; and likewise shalt thou make in the uttermost edge of another curtain, in the coupling of the second.
Exod DRC 26:5  Every curtain shall have fifty loops on both sides, so set on, that one loop may be against another loop, and one may be fitted to the other.
Exod VulgClem 26:5  Quinquagenas ansulas cortina habebit in utraque parte, ita insertas ut ansa contra ansam veniat, et altera alteri possit aptari.
Exod KJV 26:5  Fifty loops shalt thou make in the one curtain, and fifty loops shalt thou make in the edge of the curtain that is in the coupling of the second; that the loops may take hold one of another.
Exod DRC 26:6  Thou shalt make also fifty rings of gold, wherewith the veils of the curtains are to be joined, that it may be made one tabernacle.
Exod VulgClem 26:6  Facies et quinquaginta circulos aureos quibus cortinarum vela jungenda sunt, ut unum tabernaculum fiat.
Exod KJV 26:6  And thou shalt make fifty taches of gold, and couple the curtains together with the taches: and it shall be one tabernacle.
Exod DRC 26:7  Thou shalt make also eleven curtains of goats' hair, to cover the top of the tabernacle.
Exod VulgClem 26:7  Facies et saga cilicina undecim, ad operiendum tectum tabernaculi.
Exod KJV 26:7  And thou shalt make curtains of goats’ hair to be a covering upon the tabernacle: eleven curtains shalt thou make.
Exod DRC 26:8  The length of one hair-curtain shall be thirty cubits; and the breadth, four: the measure of all the curtains shall be equal.
Exod VulgClem 26:8  Longitudo sagi unius habebit triginta cubitos, et latitudo, quatuor : æqua erit mensura sagorum omnium.
Exod KJV 26:8  The length of one curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: and the eleven curtains shall be all of one measure.
Exod DRC 26:9  Five of which thou shalt couple by themselves, and the six others thou shalt couple one to another, so as to double the sixth curtain in the front of the roof.
Exod VulgClem 26:9  E quibus quinque junges seorsum, et sex sibi mutuo copulabis, ita ut sextum sagum in fronte tecti duplices.
Exod KJV 26:9  And thou shalt couple five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves, and shalt double the sixth curtain in the forefront of the tabernacle.
Exod DRC 26:10  Thou shalt make also fifty loops in the edge of one curtain, that it may be joined with the other: and fifty loops in the edge of the other curtain, that it may be coupled with its fellow.
Exod VulgClem 26:10  Facies et quinquaginta ansas in ora sagi unius, ut conjungi cum altero queat, et quinquaginta ansas in ora sagi alterius, ut cum altero copuletur.
Exod KJV 26:10  And thou shalt make fifty loops on the edge of the one curtain that is outmost in the coupling, and fifty loops in the edge of the curtain which coupleth the second.
Exod DRC 26:11  Thou shalt make also fifty buckles of brass, wherewith the loops may be joined, that of all there may be made one covering.
Exod VulgClem 26:11  Facies et quinquaginta fibulas æneas quibus jungantur ansæ, ut unum ex omnibus operimentum fiat.
Exod KJV 26:11  And thou shalt make fifty taches of brass, and put the taches into the loops, and couple the tent together, that it may be one.
Exod DRC 26:12  And that which shall remain of the curtains, that are prepared for the roof, to wit, one curtain that is over and above, with the half thereof thou shalt cover the back parts of the tabernacle.
Exod VulgClem 26:12  Quod autem superfuerit in sagis quæ parantur tecto, id est unum sagum quod amplius est, ex medietate ejus operies posteriora tabernaculi.
Exod KJV 26:12  And the remnant that remaineth of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remaineth, shall hang over the backside of the tabernacle.
Exod DRC 26:13  And there shall hang down a cubit on the one side, and another on the other side, which is over and above in the length of the curtains, fencing both sides of the tabernacle.
Exod VulgClem 26:13  Et cubitus ex una parte pendebit, et alter ex altera qui plus est in sagorum longitudine, utrumque latus tabernaculi protegens.
Exod KJV 26:13  And a cubit on the one side, and a cubit on the other side of that which remaineth in the length of the curtains of the tent, it shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that side, to cover it.
Exod DRC 26:14  Thou shalt make also another cover to the roof of rams' skins dyed red: and over that again another cover of violet coloured skins.
Exod VulgClem 26:14  Facies et operimentum aliud tecto de pellibus arietum rubricatis : et super hoc rursum aliud operimentum de janthinis pellibus.
Exod KJV 26:14  And thou shalt make a covering for the tent of rams’ skins dyed red, and a covering above of badgers’ skins.
Exod DRC 26:15  Thou shalt make also the boards of the tabernacle standing upright of setim wood.
Exod VulgClem 26:15  Facies et tabulas stantes tabernaculi de lignis setim,
Exod KJV 26:15  And thou shalt make boards for the tabernacle of shittim wood standing up.
Exod DRC 26:16  Let every one of them be ten cubits in length, and in breadth one cubit and a half.
Exod VulgClem 26:16  quæ singulæ denos cubitos in longitudine habeant, et in latitudine singulos ac semissem.
Exod KJV 26:16  Ten cubits shall be the length of a board, and a cubit and a half shall be the breadth of one board.
Exod DRC 26:17  In the sides of the boards shall be made two mortises, whereby one board may be joined to another board: and after this manner shall all the boards be prepared.
Exod VulgClem 26:17  In lateribus tabulæ, duæ incastraturæ fient, quibus tabula alteri tabulæ connectatur : atque in hunc modum cunctæ tabulæ parabuntur.
Exod KJV 26:17  Two tenons shall there be in one board, set in order one against another: thus shalt thou make for all the boards of the tabernacle.
Exod DRC 26:18  Of which twenty shall be in the south side southward.
Exod VulgClem 26:18  Quarum viginti erunt in latere meridiano quod vergit ad austrum.
Exod KJV 26:18  And thou shalt make the boards for the tabernacle, twenty boards on the south side southward.
Exod DRC 26:19  For which thou shalt cast forty sockets of silver, that under every board may be put two sockets at the two corners.
Exod VulgClem 26:19  Quibus quadraginta bases argenteas fundes, ut binæ bases singulis tabulis per duos angulos subjiciantur.
Exod KJV 26:19  And thou shalt make forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for his two tenons, and two sockets under another board for his two tenons.
Exod DRC 26:20  In the second side also of the tabernacle that looketh to the north, there shall be twenty boards,
Exod VulgClem 26:20  In latere quoque secundo tabernaculi quod vergit ad aquilonem, viginti tabulæ erunt,
Exod KJV 26:20  And for the second side of the tabernacle on the north side there shall be twenty boards:
Exod DRC 26:21  Having forty sockets of silver, two sockets shall be put under each board.
Exod VulgClem 26:21  quadraginta habentes bases argenteas, binæ bases singulis tabulis supponentur.
Exod KJV 26:21  And their forty sockets of silver; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.
Exod DRC 26:22  But on the west side of the tabernacle thou shalt make six boards.
Exod VulgClem 26:22  Ad occidentalem vero plagam tabernaculi facies sex tabulas,
Exod KJV 26:22  And for the sides of the tabernacle westward thou shalt make six boards.
Exod DRC 26:23  And again other two which shall be erected in the corners at the back of the tabernacle.
Exod VulgClem 26:23  et rursum alias duas quæ in angulis erigantur post tergum tabernaculi.
Exod KJV 26:23  And two boards shalt thou make for the corners of the tabernacle in the two sides.
Exod DRC 26:24  And they shall be joined together from beneath unto the top, and one joint shall hold them all. The like joining shall be observed for the two boards also that are to be put in the corners.
Exod VulgClem 26:24  Eruntque conjunctæ a deorsum usque sursum, et una omnes compago retinebit. Duabus quoque tabulis quæ in angulis ponendæ sunt, similis junctura servabitur.
Exod KJV 26:24  And they shall be coupled together beneath, and they shall be coupled together above the head of it unto one ring: thus shall it be for them both; they shall be for the two corners.
Exod DRC 26:25  And they shall be in all eight boards, and their silver sockets sixteen, reckoning two sockets for each board.
Exod VulgClem 26:25  Et erunt simul tabulæ octo, bases earum argenteæ sedecim, duabus basibus per unam tabulam supputatis.
Exod KJV 26:25  And they shall be eight boards, and their sockets of silver, sixteen sockets; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.
Exod DRC 26:26  Thou shalt make also five bars of setim wood, to hold together the boards on one side of the tabernacle.
Exod VulgClem 26:26  Facies et vectes de lignis setim quinque ad continendas tabulas in uno latere tabernaculi,
Exod KJV 26:26  And thou shalt make bars of shittim wood; five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,
Exod DRC 26:27  And five others on the other side, and as many at the west side:
Exod VulgClem 26:27  et quinque alios in altero, et ejusdem numeri ad occidentalem plagam :
Exod KJV 26:27  And five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the side of the tabernacle, for the two sides westward.
Exod DRC 26:28  And they shall be put along by the midst of the boards, from one end to the other.
Exod VulgClem 26:28  qui mittentur per medias tabulas a summo usque ad summum.
Exod KJV 26:28  And the middle bar in the midst of the boards shall reach from end to end.
Exod DRC 26:29  The boards also themselves thou shalt overlay with gold, and shalt cast rings of gold to be set upon them, for places for the bars to hold together the boardwork: which bars thou shalt cover with plates of gold.
Exod VulgClem 26:29  Ipsas quoque tabulas deaurabis, et fundes in eis annulos aureos per quos vectes tabulata contineant : quos operies laminis aureis.
Exod KJV 26:29  And thou shalt overlay the boards with gold, and make their rings of gold for places for the bars: and thou shalt overlay the bars with gold.
Exod DRC 26:30  And thou shalt rear up the tabernacle according to the pattern that was shewn thee in the mount.
Exod VulgClem 26:30  Et eriges tabernaculum juxta exemplar quod tibi in monte monstratum est.
Exod KJV 26:30  And thou shalt rear up the tabernacle according to the fashion thereof which was shewed thee in the mount.
Exod DRC 26:31  Thou shalt make also a veil of violet, and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine twisted linen, wrought with embroidered work and goodly variety:
Exod VulgClem 26:31  Facies et velum de hyacintho, et purpura, coccoque bis tincto, et bysso retorta, opere plumario et pulchra varietate contextum :
Exod KJV 26:31  And thou shalt make a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen of cunning work: with cherubims shall it be made:
Exod DRC 26:32  And thou shalt hang it up before four pillars of setim wood, which themselves also shall be overlaid with gold, and shall have heads of gold, but sockets of silver.
Exod VulgClem 26:32  quod appendes ante quatuor columnas de lignis setim, quæ ipsæ quidem deauratæ erunt, et habebunt capita aurea, sed bases argenteas.
Exod KJV 26:32  And thou shalt hang it upon four pillars of shittim wood overlaid with gold: their hooks shall be of gold, upon the four sockets of silver.
Exod DRC 26:33  And the veil shall be hanged on with rings, and within it thou shalt put the ark of the testimony, and the sanctuary and the holy of the holies shall be divided with it.
Exod VulgClem 26:33  Inseretur autem velum per circulos, intra quod pones arcam testimonii, quo et sanctuarium, et sanctuarii sanctuaria dividentur.
Exod KJV 26:33  And thou shalt hang up the vail under the taches, that thou mayest bring in thither within the vail the ark of the testimony: and the vail shall divide unto you between the holy place and the most holy.
Exod DRC 26:34  And thou shalt set the propitiatory upon the ark of the testimony, in the holy of holies.
Exod VulgClem 26:34  Pones et propitiatorium super arcam testimonii in Sancto sanctorum,
Exod KJV 26:34  And thou shalt put the mercy seat upon the ark of the testimony in the most holy place.
Exod DRC 26:35  And the table without the veil, and over against the table the candlestick in the south side of the tabernacle: for the table shall stand in the north side.
Exod VulgClem 26:35  mensamque extra velum, et contra mensam candelabrum in latere tabernaculi meridiano : mensa enim stabit in parte aquilonis.
Exod KJV 26:35  And thou shalt set the table without the vail, and the candlestick over against the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south: and thou shalt put the table on the north side.
Exod DRC 26:36  Thou shalt make also a hanging in the entrance of the tabernacle of violet, and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine twisted linen with embroidered work.
Exod VulgClem 26:36  Facies et tentorium in introitu tabernaculi de hyacintho, et purpura, coccoque bis tincto, et bysso retorta, opere plumarii.
Exod KJV 26:36  And thou shalt make an hanging for the door of the tent, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, wrought with needlework.
Exod DRC 26:37  And thou shalt overlay with gold five pillars of setim wood, before which the hanging shall be drawn: their heads shall be of gold, and the sockets of brass.
Exod VulgClem 26:37  Et quinque columnas deaurabis lignorum setim, ante quas ducetur tentorium : quarum erunt capita aurea, et bases æneæ.
Exod KJV 26:37  And thou shalt make for the hanging five pillars of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold, and their hooks shall be of gold: and thou shalt cast five sockets of brass for them.
