13:8  Povstane národ proti národu a království proti království, v mnohých krajinách budou zemětřesení, bude hlad. To bude teprve začátek bolestí.

13:8  Národ povstane proti národu a království proti království a na různých místech vypuknou zemětřesení a hladomory. To jsou ale jen počátky porodních bolestí.

13:9  Vy sami se mějte na pozoru! Budou vás vydávat soudům, budete biti v synagógách, budete stát před vládci i králi kvůli mně, abyste před nimi vydali svědectví.

13:9  Dávejte na sebe pozor. Budou vás vydávat soudům a shromážděním. Budete biti a kvůli mně stanete před vládci a králi, abyste jim vydali svědectví.

13:19  S těmi dny přijde takové soužení, jaké nebylo od počátku světa, který stvořil Bůh, až do dneška nikdy nebude.
