Prov | Darby | 16:4 | Jehovah hath wrought everything on his own account, yea, even the wicked for the day of evil. | |
Prov | Darby | 16:5 | Every proud heart is an abomination to Jehovah: hand for hand, he shall not be held innocent. | |
Prov | Darby | 16:6 | By loving-kindness and truth iniquity is atoned for; and by the fear of Jehovah [men] depart from evil. | |
Prov | Darby | 16:7 | When a man's ways please Jehovah, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. | |
Prov | Darby | 16:11 | The just balance and scales are Jehovah's; all the weights of the bag are his work. | |
Prov | Darby | 16:12 | It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness; for the throne is established by righteousness. | |
