AB - I Chronicles - 7

7:1  And as to the sons of Issachar, they were Tola, Puah, Jashub, and Shimron-four in all.

7:2  And the sons of Tola were Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Jibsam, and Shemuel, chiefs of their fathers' houses belonging to Tola, men of might according to their generations; their number in the days of David was twenty-two thousand six hundred.

7:3  And the son of Uzzi was Izrahiah, and the sons of Izrahiah were Michael, Obadiah, Joel, and Ishiah, five in all, all rulers.

7:4  And with them, according to their generations, according to the houses of their families, were men mighty to set armies in array for war, thirty-six thousand, for they had multiplied their wives and children.

7:5  And their brethren among all the families of Issachar, also mighty men, were eighty-seven thousand-this was the number of them all.

7:6  The sons of Benjamin were Bela, Becher, and Jediael, three in all.

7:7  And the sons of Bela were Ezbon, Uzzi, Uzziel, Jerimoth, and Iri-five in all; heads of houses of families, mighty men; and their number was twenty-two thousand and thirty-four.

7:8  And the sons of Becher were Zemirah, Joash, Eliezer, Elioenai, Omri, Jerimoth, Abijah, Anathoth, and Alemeth. All these were the sons of Becher.

7:9  And their number according to their generations, (they were chiefs of their fathers' houses, men of might), was twenty thousand and two hundred.

7:10  And the son of Jediael was Bilhan, and the sons of Bilhan were Jeush, Benjamin, and Ehud, Chenaanah, Zethan, Tharshish, and Ahishahar.

7:11  All these were the sons of Jediael, chiefs of their families, men of might, seventeen thousand two hundred, going forth to war with might.

7:12  And Shuppim and Huppim were the sons of Ir, and Hushim was the son was Aher.

7:13  The sons of Naphtali were Jahziel, Guni, Jezer, and Shallum, the sons of Bilhah.

7:14  The descendants of Manasseh: Asriel, whom his Syrian concubine bore; and she bore to him also Machir the father of Gilead.

7:15  And Machir took a wife for Huppim and Shuppim, and his sister's name was Maachah; and the name of the second son was Zelophehad; and to Zelophehad were born daughters.

7:16  And Maachah the wife of Machir bore a son, and called his name Peresh; and his brother's name was Sheresh; his sons were Ulam and Rakem.

7:17  And the son of Ulam was Bedan. These were the sons of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh.

7:18  And his sister Hammoleketh bore Ishhod, Abiezer, and Mahlah.

7:19  And the sons of Shemida were Ahian, Shechem, Likhi, and Aniam.

7:20  And the sons of Ephraim were Shuthelah, Bered his son, Tahath his son, Eladah his son, Tahath his son,

7:21  Zabad his son, Shuthelah his son, and Ezer and Elead. And the men of Gath who were born in the land killed them, because they went down to take their cattle.

7:22  And their father Ephraim mourned many days, and his brethren came to comfort him.

7:23  And he went in to his wife, and she conceived and bore a son, and he called his name Beriah, because, he said, he was afflicted in my house.

7:24  And his daughter was Sheerah, and he was among them that were left, and he built Beth Horon the Upper and the Lower. And the descendants of Ozan were Sheerah,

7:25  Rephah his son, Resheph and Telah his sons, and Tahan his son.

7:26  Laadan his son, Ammihud his son, Elishama his son,

7:27  Nun his son, and Joshua his son.

7:28  And their possession and their dwelling were Bethel and her towns, to the east Naaran, to the west Gezer and her towns, and Shechem and her towns, as far as Gaza and her towns.

7:29  And as far as the borders of the sons of Manasseh, Beth Shean and her towns, Taanach and her towns, Megiddo and her towns, Dor and her towns. In this the children of Joseph the son of Israel dwelt.

7:30  The sons of Asher were Imnah, Ishvah, Ishvi, Beriah, and Serah their sister.

7:31  And the sons of Beriah were Heber and Malchiel; he was the father of Birzaith.

7:32  And Heber begot Japhlet, Shomer, Hotham, and Shua their sister.

7:33  And the sons of Japhlet were Pasach, Bimhal, and Ashvath. These were the sons of Japhlet.

7:34  And the sons of Shomer were Ahi, Rohgah, Jehubbah, and Aram.

7:35  And the sons of Helem his brother were Zophah, Imna, Shelesh, and Amal.

7:36  The sons of Zophah were Suah, Harnepher, Shual, Beri, Imrah,

7:37  Bezer, Hod, Shamma, Shilshah, Jithran, and Beera.

7:38  And the sons of Jithran were Jephunneh, Pispah, and Ara.

7:39  And the sons of Ulla were Arah, Haniel, and Rizia.

7:40  All these were the sons of Asher, all heads of families, choice, mighty men, chief leaders. Their number for battle array was twenty-six thousand men.
