Exod VulgClem 12:1  Dixit quoque Dominus ad Moysen et Aaron in terra Ægypti :
Exod KJV 12:1  And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,
Exod DRC 12:2  This month shall be to you the beginning of months; it shall be the first in the months of the year.
Exod VulgClem 12:2  Mensis iste, vobis principium mensium : primus erit in mensibus anni.
Exod KJV 12:2  This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.
Exod DRC 12:3  Speak ye to the whole assembly of the children of Israel, and say to them: On the tenth day of this month let every man take a lamb by their families and houses.
Exod KJV 12:3  Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:
Exod DRC 12:4  But if the number be less than may suffice to eat the lamb, he shall take unto him his neighbour that joineth to his house, according to the number of souls which may be enough to eat the lamb.
Exod KJV 12:4  And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.
Exod DRC 12:5  And it shall be a lamb without blemish, a male, of one year; according to which rite also you shall take a kid.
Exod VulgClem 12:5  Erit autem agnus absque macula, masculus, anniculus : juxta quem ritum tolletis et hædum.
Exod KJV 12:5  Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:
Exod DRC 12:6  And you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of this month; and the whole multitude of the children of Israel shall sacrifice it in the evening.
Exod VulgClem 12:6  Et servabitis eum usque ad quartamdecimam diem mensis hujus : immolabitque eum universa multitudo filiorum Israël ad vesperam.
Exod KJV 12:6  And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.
Exod DRC 12:7  And they shall take of the blood thereof, and put it upon both the side posts, and on the upper door posts of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.
Exod KJV 12:7  And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.
Exod DRC 12:8  And they shall eat the flesh that night roasted at the fire, and unleavened bread with wild lettuce.
Exod VulgClem 12:8  Et edent carnes nocte illa assas igni, et azymos panes cum lactucis agrestibus.
Exod KJV 12:8  And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.
Exod DRC 12:9  You shall not eat thereof any thing raw, nor boiled in water, but only roasted at the fire; you shall eat the head with the feet and entrails thereof.
Exod KJV 12:9  Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof.
Exod DRC 12:10  Neither shall there remain any thing of it until morning. If there be any thing left, you shall burn it with fire.
Exod VulgClem 12:10  Nec remanebit quidquam ex eo usque mane ; si quid residuum fuerit, igne comburetis.
Exod KJV 12:10  And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.
Exod DRC 12:11  And thus you shall eat it: you shall gird your reins, and you shall have shoes on your feet, holding staves in your hands, and you shall eat in haste; for it is the Phase (that is the Passage) of the Lord.
Exod KJV 12:11  And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the Lord’s passover.
Exod DRC 12:12  And I will pass through the land of Egypt that night, and will kill every firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast: and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments; I am the Lord.
Exod VulgClem 12:12  Et transibo per terram Ægypti nocte illa, percutiamque omne primogenitum in terra Ægypti ab homine usque ad pecus : et in cunctis diis Ægypti faciam judicia. Ego Dominus.
Exod KJV 12:12  For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord.
Exod DRC 12:13  And the blood shall be unto you for a sign in the houses where you shall be; and I shall see the blood, and shall pass over you; and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I shall strike the land of Egypt.
Exod VulgClem 12:13  Erit autem sanguis vobis in signum in ædibus in quibus eritis : et videbo sanguinem, et transibo vos : nec erit in vobis plaga disperdens quando percussero terram Ægypti.
Exod KJV 12:13  And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.
Exod DRC 12:14  And this day shall be for a memorial to you; and you shall keep it a feast to the Lord in your generations, with an everlasting observance.
Exod VulgClem 12:14  Habebitis autem hunc diem in monimentum : et celebrabitis eam solemnem Domino in generationibus vestris cultu sempiterno.
Exod KJV 12:14  And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the Lord throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.

Exod VulgClem 12:15  Septem diebus azyma comedetis : in die primo non erit fermentum in domibus vestris : quicumque comederit fermentatum, peribit anima illa de Israël, a primo die usque ad diem septimum.
Exod KJV 12:15  Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.
Exod DRC 12:16  The first day shall be holy and solemn, and the seventh day shall be kept with the like solemnity: you shall do no work in them, except those things that belong to eating.
Exod VulgClem 12:16  Dies prima erit sancta atque solemnis, et dies septima eadem festivitate venerabilis : nihil operis facietis in eis, exceptis his, quæ ad vescendum pertinent.
Exod KJV 12:16  And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you.
Exod DRC 12:17  And you shall observe the feast of the unleavened bread: for in this same day I will bring forth your army out of the land of Egypt, and you shall keep this day in your generations by a perpetual observance.
Exod VulgClem 12:17  Et observabitis azyma : in eadem enim ipsa die educam exercitum vestrum de terra Ægypti, et custodietis diem istum in generationes vestras ritu perpetuo.
Exod KJV 12:17  And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.
Exod DRC 12:18  The first month, the fourteenth day of the month, in the evening, you shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the same month, in the evening.
Exod VulgClem 12:18  Primo mense, quartadecima die mensis ad vesperam, comedetis azyma usque ad diem vigesimam primam ejusdem mensis ad vesperam.
Exod KJV 12:18  In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.
Exod DRC 12:19  Seven days there shall not be found any leaven in your houses: he that shall eat leavened bread, his soul shall perish out of the assembly of Israel, whether he be a stranger or born in the land.

Exod KJV 12:20  Ye shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations shall ye eat unleavened bread.
Exod DRC 12:21  And Moses called all the ancients of the children of Israel, and said to them: Go take a lamb by your families, and sacrifice the Phase.
Exod KJV 12:21  Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover.
Exod DRC 12:22  And dip a bunch of hyssop in the blood that is at the door, and sprinkle the transom of the door therewith, and both the door cheeks: let none of you go out of the door of his house till morning.

Exod DRC 12:23  For the Lord will pass through striking the Egyptians: and when he shall see the blood on the transom, and on both the posts, he will pass over the door of the house, and not suffer the destroyer to come into your houses and to hurt you.
Exod KJV 12:23  For the Lord will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the Lord will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.

Exod KJV 12:39  And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt, for it was not leavened; because they were thrust out of Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victual.
