Chapter 25
Exod DRC 25:1  And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
Exod VulgClem 25:1  Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens :
Exod KJV 25:1  And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
Exod DRC 25:2  Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring firstfruits to me: of every man that offereth of his own accord, you shall take them.
Exod VulgClem 25:2  Loquere filiis Israël, ut tollant mihi primitias : ab omni homine qui offeret ultroneus, accipietis eas.
Exod KJV 25:2  Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering.
Exod DRC 25:3  And these are the things you must take: Gold, and silver, and brass,
Exod VulgClem 25:3  Hæc sunt autem quæ accipere debeatis : aurum, et argentum, et æs,
Exod KJV 25:3  And this is the offering which ye shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass,
Exod DRC 25:4  Violet and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine linen, and goats' hair,
Exod VulgClem 25:4  hyacinthum et purpuram, coccumque bis tinctum, et byssum, pilos caprarum,
Exod KJV 25:4  And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats’ hair,
Exod DRC 25:5  And rams' skins dyed red, and violet skins, and setim wood:
Exod VulgClem 25:5  et pelles arietum rubricatas, pellesque janthinas, et ligna setim :
Exod KJV 25:5  And rams’ skins dyed red, and badgers’ skins, and shittim wood,
Exod DRC 25:6  Oil to make lights: spices for ointment, and for sweetsmelling incense:
Exod VulgClem 25:6  oleum ad luminaria concinnanda : aromata in unguentum, et thymiamata boni odoris :
Exod KJV 25:6  Oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense,
Exod DRC 25:7  Onyx stones, and precious stones to adorn the ephod and the rational.
Exod VulgClem 25:7  lapides onychinos, et gemmas ad ornandum ephod, ac rationale.
Exod KJV 25:7  Onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod, and in the breastplate.
Exod DRC 25:8  And they shall make me a sanctuary, and I will dwell in the midst of them:
Exod VulgClem 25:8  Facientque mihi sanctuarium, et habitabo in medio eorum :
Exod KJV 25:8  And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.
Exod DRC 25:9  According to all the likeness of the tabernacle which I will shew thee, and of all the vessels for the service thereof: and thus you shall make it:
Exod VulgClem 25:9  juxta omnem similitudinem tabernaculi quod ostendam tibi, et omnium vasorum in cultum ejus. Sicque facietis illud :
Exod KJV 25:9  According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it.
Exod DRC 25:10  Frame an ark of setim wood, the length whereof shall be of two cubits and a half; the breadth, a cubit and a half; the height, likewise, a cubit and a half.
Exod VulgClem 25:10  arcam de lignis setim compingite, cujus longitudo habeat duos et semis cubitos : latitudo, cubitum et dimidium : altitudo, cubitum similiter ac semissem.
Exod KJV 25:10  And they shall make an ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.
Exod DRC 25:11  And thou shalt overlay it with the purest gold, within and without; and over it thou shalt make a golden crown round about:
Exod VulgClem 25:11  Et deaurabis eam auro mundissimo intus et foris : faciesque supra, coronam auream per circuitum :
Exod KJV 25:11  And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it, and shalt make upon it a crown of gold round about.
Exod DRC 25:12  And four golden rings, which thou shalt put at the four corners of the ark: let two rings be on the one side, and two on the other.
Exod VulgClem 25:12  et quatuor circulos aureos, quos pones per quatuor arcæ angulos : duo circuli sint in latere uno, et duo in altero.
Exod KJV 25:12  And thou shalt cast four rings of gold for it, and put them in the four corners thereof; and two rings shall be in the one side of it, and two rings in the other side of it.
Exod DRC 25:13  Thou shalt make bars also of setim wood, and shalt overlay them with gold.
Exod VulgClem 25:13  Facies quoque vectes de lignis setim, et operies eos auro.
Exod KJV 25:13  And thou shalt make staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold.
Exod DRC 25:14  And thou shalt put them in through the rings that are in the sides of the ark, that it may be carried on them:
Exod VulgClem 25:14  Inducesque per circulos qui sunt in arcæ lateribus, ut portetur in eis :
Exod KJV 25:14  And thou shalt put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them.
Exod DRC 25:15  And they shall be always in the rings, neither shall they at any time be drawn out of them.
Exod VulgClem 25:15  qui semper erunt in circulis, nec umquam extrahentur ab eis.
Exod KJV 25:15  The staves shall be in the rings of the ark: they shall not be taken from it.
Exod DRC 25:16  And thou shalt put in the ark the testimony which I will give thee.
Exod VulgClem 25:16  Ponesque in arca testificationem quam dabo tibi.
Exod KJV 25:16  And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee.
Exod DRC 25:17  Thou shalt make also a propitiatory of the purest gold: the length thereof shall be two cubits and a half, and the breadth a cubit and a half.
Exod VulgClem 25:17  Facies et propitiatorium de auro mundissimo : duos cubitos et dimidium tenebit longitudo ejus, et cubitum ac semissem latitudo.
Exod KJV 25:17  And thou shalt make a mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.
Exod DRC 25:18  Thou shalt make also two cherubims of beaten gold, on the two sides of the oracle.
Exod VulgClem 25:18  Duos quoque cherubim aureos et productiles facies, ex utraque parte oraculi.
Exod KJV 25:18  And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat.
Exod DRC 25:19  Let one cherub be on the one side, and the other on the other.
Exod VulgClem 25:19  Cherub unus sit in latere uno, et alter in altero.
Exod KJV 25:19  And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: even of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof.
Exod DRC 25:20  Let them cover both sides of the propitiatory, spreading their wings, and covering the oracle, and let them look one towards the other, their faces being turned towards the propitiatory wherewith the ark is to be covered.
Exod VulgClem 25:20  Utrumque latus propitiatorii tegant expandentes alas, et operientes oraculum, respiciantque se mutuo versis vultibus in propitiatorium quo operienda est arca,
Exod KJV 25:20  And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be.
Exod DRC 25:21  In which thou shalt put the testimony that I will give thee.
Exod VulgClem 25:21  in qua pones testimonium quod dabo tibi.
Exod KJV 25:21  And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee.
Exod DRC 25:22  Thence will I give orders, and will speak to thee over the propitiatory, and from the midst of the two cherubims, which shall be upon the ark of the testimony, all things which I will command the children of Israel by thee.
Exod VulgClem 25:22  Inde præcipiam, et loquar ad te supra propitiatorium, ac de medio duorum cherubim, qui erunt super arcam testimonii, cuncta quæ mandabo per te filiis Israël.
Exod KJV 25:22  And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.
Exod DRC 25:23  Thou shalt make a table also of setim wood, of two cubits in length, and a cubit in breadth, and a cubit and a half in height.
Exod VulgClem 25:23  Facies et mensam de lignis setim, habentem duos cubitos longitudinis, et in latitudine cubitum, et in altitudine cubitum et semissem.
Exod KJV 25:23  Thou shalt also make a table of shittim wood: two cubits shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.
Exod DRC 25:24  And thou shalt overlay it with the purest gold: and thou shalt make to it a golden ledge round about.
Exod VulgClem 25:24  Et inaurabis eam auro purissimo : faciesque illi labium aureum per circuitum,
Exod KJV 25:24  And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, and make thereto a crown of gold round about.
Exod DRC 25:25  And to the ledge itself a polished crown, four inches high; and over the same another little golden crown.
Exod VulgClem 25:25  et ipsi labio coronam interrasilem altam quatuor digitis : et super illam, alteram coronam aureolam.
Exod KJV 25:25  And thou shalt make unto it a border of an hand breadth round about, and thou shalt make a golden crown to the border thereof round about.
Exod DRC 25:26  Thou shalt prepare also four golden rings, and shalt put them in the four corners of the same table, over each foot.
Exod VulgClem 25:26  Quatuor quoque circulos aureos præparabis, et pones eis in quatuor angulis ejusdem mensæ per singulos pedes.
Exod KJV 25:26  And thou shalt make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings in the four corners that are on the four feet thereof.
Exod DRC 25:27  Under the crown shall the golden rings be, that the bars may be put through them, and the table may be carried.
Exod VulgClem 25:27  Subter coronam erunt circuli aurei, ut mittantur vectes per eos, et possit mensa portari.
Exod KJV 25:27  Over against the border shall the rings be for places of the staves to bear the table.
Exod DRC 25:28  The bars also themselves thou shalt make of setim wood, and shalt overlay them with gold, to bear up the table.
Exod VulgClem 25:28  Ipsos quoque vectes facies de lignis setim, et circumdabis auro ad subvehendam mensam.
Exod KJV 25:28  And thou shalt make the staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold, that the table may be borne with them.
Exod DRC 25:29  Thou shalt prepare also dishes, and bowls, censers, and cups, wherein the libations are to be offered, of the purest gold.
Exod VulgClem 25:29  Parabis et acetabula, ac phialas, thuribula, et cyathos, in quibus offerenda sunt libamina, ex auro purissimo.
Exod KJV 25:29  And thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and spoons thereof, and covers thereof, and bowls thereof, to cover withal: of pure gold shalt thou make them.
Exod DRC 25:30  And thou shalt set upon the table loaves of proposition in my sight always.
Exod VulgClem 25:30  Et pones super mensam panes propositionis in conspectu meo semper.
Exod KJV 25:30  And thou shalt set upon the table shewbread before me alway.
Exod DRC 25:31  Thou shalt make also a candlestick of beaten work, of the finest gold, the shaft thereof, and the branches, the cups, and the bowls, and the lilies going forth from it.
Exod VulgClem 25:31  Facies et candelabrum ductile de auro mundissimo, hastile ejus, et calamos, scyphos, et sphærulas, ac lilia ex ipso procedentia.
Exod KJV 25:31  And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same.
Exod DRC 25:32  Six branches shall come out of the sides, three out of one side, and three out of the other.
Exod VulgClem 25:32  Sex calami egredientur de lateribus, tres ex uno latere, et tres ex altero.
Exod KJV 25:32  And six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side:
Exod DRC 25:33  Three cups as it were nuts to every branch, and a bowl withal, and a lily: and three cups likewise of the fashion of nuts in the other branch, and a bowl withal, and a lily. Such shall be the work of the six branches, that are to come out from the shaft:
Exod VulgClem 25:33  Tres scyphi quasi in nucis modum per calamos singulos, sphærulaque simul, et lilium : et tres similiter scyphi instar nucis in calamo altero, sphærulaque simul et lilium. Hoc erit opus sex calamorum, qui producendi sunt de hastili :
Exod KJV 25:33  Three bowls made like unto almonds, with a knop and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, with a knop and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the candlestick.
Exod DRC 25:34  And in the candlestick itself shall be four cups in the manner of a nut, and at every one bowls and lilies.
Exod VulgClem 25:34  in ipso autem candelabro erunt quatuor scyphi in nucis modum, sphærulæque per singulos, et lilia.
Exod KJV 25:34  And in the candlestick shall be four bowls made like unto almonds, with their knops and their flowers.
Exod DRC 25:35  Bowls under two branches in three places, which together make six, coming forth out of one shaft.
Exod VulgClem 25:35  Sphærulæ sub duobus calamis per tria loca, qui simul sex fiunt procedentes de hastili uno.
Exod KJV 25:35  And there shall be a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches that proceed out of the candlestick.
Exod DRC 25:36  And both the bowls and the branches shall be of the same beaten work of the purest gold.
Exod VulgClem 25:36  Et sphærulæ igitur et calami ex ipso erunt, universa ductilia de auro purissimo.
Exod KJV 25:36  Their knops and their branches shall be of the same: all it shall be one beaten work of pure gold.
Exod DRC 25:37  Thou shalt make also seven lamps, and shalt set them upon the candlestick, to give light over against.
Exod VulgClem 25:37  Facies et lucernas septem, et pones eas super candelabrum, ut luceant ex adverso.
Exod KJV 25:37  And thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof: and they shall light the lamps thereof, that they may give light over against it.
Exod DRC 25:38  The snuffers also, and where the snuffings shall be put out, shall be made of the purest gold.
Exod VulgClem 25:38  Emunctoria quoque, et ubi quæ emuncta sunt extinguantur, fiant de auro purissimo.
Exod KJV 25:38  And the tongs thereof, and the snuffdishes thereof, shall be of pure gold.
Exod DRC 25:39  The whole weight of the candlestick, with all the furniture thereof, shall be a talent of the purest gold.
Exod VulgClem 25:39  Omne pondus candelabri cum universis vasis suis habebit talentum auri purissimi.
Exod KJV 25:39  Of a talent of pure gold shall he make it, with all these vessels.
Exod DRC 25:40  Look, and make it according to the pattern that was shewn thee in the mount.
Exod VulgClem 25:40  Inspice, et fac secundum exemplar quod tibi in monte monstratum est.
Exod KJV 25:40  And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount.
