Acts VulgClem 2:22  Viri Israëlitæ, audite verba hæc : Jesum Nazarenum, virum approbatum a Deo in vobis, virtutibus, et prodigiis, et signis, quæ fecit Deus per illum in medio vestri, sicut et vos scitis :
Acts KJV 2:22  Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
Acts DRC 2:23  This same being delivered up, by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, you by the hands of wicked men have crucified and slain.
Acts VulgClem 2:23  hunc, definito consilio et præscientia Dei traditum, per manus iniquorum affligentes interemistis :
Acts KJV 2:23  Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
Acts DRC 2:24  Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the sorrows of hell, as it was impossible that he should be holden by it.

Acts KJV 2:24  Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

Acts VulgClem 2:25  David enim dicit in eum : Providebam Dominum in conspectu meo semper : quoniam a dextris est mihi, ne commovear :
Acts KJV 2:25  For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:
Acts DRC 2:26  For this my heart hath been glad, and my tongue hath rejoiced: moreover my flesh also shall rest in hope.

Acts KJV 2:30  Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
Acts DRC 2:31  Foreseeing this, he spoke of the resurrection of Christ. For neither was he left in hell: neither did his flesh see corruption.

Acts DRC 2:33  Being exalted therefore by the right hand of God and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath poured forth this which you see and hear.
Acts VulgClem 2:33  Dextera igitur Dei exaltatus, et promissione Spiritus Sancti accepta a Patre, effudit hunc, quem vos videtis et auditis.
Acts KJV 2:33  Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
Acts DRC 2:34  For David ascended not into heaven; but he himself said: The Lord said to my Lord: Sit thou on my right hand,
Acts VulgClem 2:34  Non enim David ascendit in cælum : dixit autem ipse : Dixit Dominus Domino meo : Sede a dextris meis,
Acts KJV 2:34  For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
Acts DRC 2:35  Until I make thy enemies thy footstool.
Acts VulgClem 2:35  donec ponam inimicos tuos scabellum pedum tuorum.
Acts KJV 2:35  Until I make thy foes thy footstool.
Acts DRC 2:36  Therefore let all the house of Israel know most certainly that God hath made both Lord and Christ, this same Jesus, whom you have crucified.
Acts VulgClem 2:36  Certissime sciat ergo omnis domus Israël, quia et Dominum eum et Christum fecit Deus hunc Jesum, quem vos crucifixistis.
Acts KJV 2:36  Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

Acts KJV 2:37  Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
Acts DRC 2:38  But Peter said to them: Do penance: and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of your sins. And you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts VulgClem 2:38  Petrus vero ad illos : Pœnitentiam, inquit, agite, et baptizetur unusquisque vestrum in nomine Jesu Christi in remissionem peccatorum vestrorum : et accipietis donum Spiritus Sancti.
Acts KJV 2:38  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts DRC 2:39  For the promise is to you and to your children and to all that are far off, whomsoever the Lord our God shall call.

Acts DRC 2:41  They therefore that received his word were baptized: and there were added in that day about three thousand souls.
Acts KJV 2:41  Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
Acts DRC 2:42  And they were persevering in the doctrine of the apostles and in the communication of the breaking of bread and in prayers.
Acts KJV 2:42  And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
Acts DRC 2:43  And fear came upon every soul. Many wonders also and signs were done by the apostles in Jerusalem: and there was great fervor in all.
Acts KJV 2:43  And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
Acts DRC 2:44  And all they that believed were together and had all things common.

Acts KJV 2:45  And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
Acts DRC 2:46  And continuing daily with one accord in the temple and breaking bread from house to house, they took their meat with gladness and simplicity of heart:
Acts VulgClem 2:46  Quotidie quoque perdurantes unanimiter in templo, et frangentes circa domos panem, sumebant cibum cum exsultatione et simplicitate cordis,
Acts KJV 2:46  And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
Acts DRC 2:47  Praising God and having favour with all the people. And the Lord increased daily together such as should be saved.
Acts KJV 2:47  Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
