Chapter 9
Psal DRC 9:1  Unto the end, for the hidden things of the Son. A psalm for David.
Psal VulgClem 9:1  In finem, pro occultis filii. Psalmus David.
Psal KJV 9:1  I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.
Psal DRC 9:2  I will give praise to thee, O Lord, with my whole heart: I will relate all thy wonders.
Psal VulgClem 9:2  Confitebor tibi, Domine, in toto corde meo ; narrabo omnia mirabilia tua.
Psal KJV 9:2  I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.
Psal DRC 9:3  I will be glad, and rejoice in thee: I will sing to thy name, O thou most high.
Psal VulgClem 9:3  Lætabor et exsultabo in te ; psallam nomini tuo, Altissime.
Psal KJV 9:3  When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence.
Psal DRC 9:4  When my enemy shall be turned back: they shall be weakened, and perish before thy face.

Psal KJV 9:4  For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou satest in the throne judging right.
Psal DRC 9:5  For thou hast maintained my judgment and my cause: thou hast sat on the throne, who judgest justice.
Psal VulgClem 9:5  Quoniam fecisti judicium meum et causam meam ; sedisti super thronum, qui judicas justitiam.
Psal KJV 9:5  Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.
Psal DRC 9:6  Thou hast rebuked the Gentiles, and the wicked one hath perished; thou hast blotted out their name for ever and ever.
Psal VulgClem 9:6  Increpasti gentes, et periit impius : nomen eorum delesti in æternum, et in sæculum sæculi.
Psal KJV 9:6  O thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them.
Psal DRC 9:7  The swords of the enemy have failed unto the end: and their cities thou hast destroyed. Their memory hath perished with a noise:

Psal KJV 9:7  But the Lord shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment.
Psal DRC 9:8  But the Lord remaineth for ever. He hath prepared his throne in judgment:
Psal VulgClem 9:8  et Dominus in æternum permanet. Paravit in judicio thronum suum,
Psal KJV 9:8  And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.
Psal DRC 9:9  And he shall judge the world in equity, he shall judge the people in justice.

Psal KJV 9:9  The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.
Psal DRC 9:10  And the Lord is become a refuge for the poor: a helper in due time in tribulation.
Psal VulgClem 9:10  Et factus est Dominus refugium pauperi ; adjutor in opportunitatibus, in tribulatione.
Psal KJV 9:10  And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

Psal KJV 9:11  Sing praises to the Lord, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings.
Psal DRC 9:12  Sing ye to the Lord, who dwelleth in Sion: declare his ways among the Gentiles:
Psal VulgClem 9:12  Psallite Domino qui habitat in Sion ; annuntiate inter gentes studia ejus :
Psal KJV 9:12  When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them: he forgetteth not the cry of the humble.
Psal DRC 9:13  For requiring their blood, he hath remembered them: he hath not forgotten the cry of the poor.
Psal VulgClem 9:13  quoniam requirens sanguinem eorum recordatus est ; non est oblitus clamorem pauperum.
Psal KJV 9:13  Have mercy upon me, O Lord; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:
Psal DRC 9:14  Have mercy on me, O Lord: see my humiliation which I suffer from my enemies.

Psal KJV 9:14  That I may shew forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation.
Psal DRC 9:15  Thou that liftest me up from the gates of death, that I may declare all thy praises in the gates of the daughter of Sion.
Psal VulgClem 9:15  qui exaltas me de portis mortis, ut annuntiem omnes laudationes tuas in portis filiæ Sion :
Psal KJV 9:15  The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.
Psal DRC 9:16  I will rejoice in thy salvation: the Gentiles have stuck fast in the destruction which they prepared. Their foot hath been taken in the very snare which they hid.
Psal VulgClem 9:16  exultabo in salutari tuo. Infixæ sunt gentes in interitu quem fecerunt ; in laqueo isto quem absconderunt comprehensus est pes eorum.
Psal KJV 9:16  The Lord is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.
Psal DRC 9:17  The Lord shall be known when he executeth judgments: the sinner hath been caught in the works of his own hands.
Psal VulgClem 9:17  Cognoscetur Dominus judicia faciens ; in operibus manuum suarum comprehensus est peccator.
Psal KJV 9:17  The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

Psal KJV 9:18  For the needy shall not alway be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.

Psal DRC 9:21  Appoint, O Lord, a lawgiver over them: that the Gentiles may know themselves to be but men.

Psal DRC 9:22  Why, O Lord, hast thou retired afar off? why dost thou slight us in our wants, in the time of trouble?

Psal DRC 9:23  Whilst the wicked man is proud, the poor is set on fire: they are caught in the counsels which they devise.

Psal DRC 9:24  For the sinner is praised in the desires of his soul: and the unjust man is blessed.

Psal DRC 9:25  The sinner hath provoked the Lord according to the multitude of his wrath he will not seek him:
Psal VulgClem 9:25  Exacerbavit Dominum peccator : secundum multitudinem iræ suæ, non quæret.

Psal DRC 9:26  God is not before his eyes: his ways are filthy at all times. Thy judgments are removed from his sight: he shall rule over all his enemies.
Psal VulgClem 9:26  Non est Deus in conspectu ejus ; inquinatæ sunt viæ illius in omni tempore. Auferuntur judicia tua a facie ejus ; omnium inimicorum suorum dominabitur.

Psal DRC 9:27  For he hath said in his heart: I shall not be moved from generation to generation, and shall be without evil.

Psal DRC 9:28  His mouth is full of cursing, and of bitterness, and of deceit: under his tongue are labor and sorrow.

Psal DRC 9:29  He sits in ambush with the rich in private places, that he may kill the innocent.

Psal DRC 9:30  His eyes are upon the poor man: He lieth in wait in secret like a lion in his den. He lieth in ambush that he may catch the poor man: to catch the poor, whilst he draweth him to him.

Psal DRC 9:34  Wherefore hath the wicked provoked God? for he hath said in his heart: He will not require it.

Psal DRC 9:35  Thou seest it, for thou considerest labour and sorrow: that thou mayst deliver them into thy hands. To thee is the poor man left: thou wilt be a helper to the orphan.

Psal DRC 9:39  To judge for the fatherless and for the humble, that man may no more presume to magnify himself upon earth.
