Mark | ISV | 5:2 | Just as JesusLit. he stepped out of the boat, a man with an unclean spirit came out of the tombs and met him. | |
Mark | ISV | 5:3 | He lived among the tombs, and no one could restrain him any longer, not even with a chain. | |
Mark | ISV | 5:4 | He had often been restrained with shackles and chains but had snapped the chains apart and broken the shackles in pieces. No one could tame him. | |
Mark | ISV | 5:5 | Night and day he kept screaming among the tombs and on the mountainsides and kept cutting himself with stones. | |

Mark | ISV | 5:18 | As he was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon-possessed kept begging him to let him go with him. | |

Mark | ISV | 5:26 | Although she had endured a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all of her money, she had not been helped at all but rather grew worse. | |
Mark | ISV | 5:27 | Since she had heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his robe. | |
Mark | ISV | 5:29 | Her bleeding stopped at once, and she felt in her body that she was healed from her illness. | |
Mark | ISV | 5:30 | Immediately Jesus became aware that power had gone out of him. So he turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?” | |
Mark | ISV | 5:31 | His disciples said to him, “You see the crowd jostling you, and yet you ask, ‘Who touched me?’” | |
Mark | ISV | 5:33 | So the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came in fear and trembling, fell down before him, and told him the whole truth. | |
Mark | ISV | 5:34 | He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace and be healed from your illness.” | |
