31:1  But after that he had heard the words of the sons of Laban, saying: Jacob hath taken away all that was our father's, and being enriched by his substance is become great.

31:1  Jákob se doslechl, jaké řeči vedou Lábanovi synové: „Jákob pobral všechno, co patřilo našemu otci, a z toho, co měl otec, získal takové postavení.“

31:1  Jednou Jákob zaslechl, jak Lábanovi synové říkají: „Jákob obral našeho otce o všechno! Všechno to bohatství si pořídil na úkor našeho otce!“

31:1  Jákob uslyšel slova Lábanových synů: Jákob vzal všechno, co bylo našeho otce! A z toho, co bylo našeho otce, si nahromadil všechno toto bohatství!

31:1  Když pak uslyšel Jákob slova synů Lábanových, ani praví: Pobral Jákob všecko, co měl otec náš, a z těch věcí, kteréž byly otce našeho, způsobil sobě tu všecku slávu;

31:1  And he heard the words of Laban's sons, saying, Jacob hath taken away all that [was] our father's; and of [that] which [was] our father's hath he obtained all this glory.

31:7  Yea your father hath also overreached me, and hath changed my wages ten times: and yet God hath not suffered him to hurt me.

31:7  Sed et pater vester circumvenit me et mutavit mercedem meam decem vicibus : et tamen non dimisit eum Deus ut noceret mihi.

31:8  If at any time, he said: The speckled shall be thy wages: all the sheep brought forth speckled: but when he said on the contrary: Thou shalt take all the white one for thy wages: all the flocks brought forth white ones.

31:8  If he said thus, The speckled shall be thy wages; then all the cattle bare speckled: and if he said thus, The ringstraked shall be thy hire; then bare all the cattle ringstraked.

31:8  If he said thus, The speckled shall be thy wages; then all the cattle bore speckled: and if he said thus, The ring-streaked shall be thy hire; then all the cattle bore ring-streaked.

31:8  If he said this, 'The speckled will be your wages,' then all the flock bore speckled. If he said this, 'The streaked will be your wages,' then all the flock bore streaked.

31:9  And God hath taken your father's substance, and given it to me.

31:10  For after the time came of the ewes conceiving, I lifted up my eyes, and saw in my sleep, that the males which leaped upon the females were of divers colours, and spotted, and speckled.

31:10  And it came to pass at the time that the cattle conceived, that I lifted up mine eyes, and saw in a dream, and, behold, the rams which leaped upon the cattle were ringstraked, speckled, and grisled.

31:10  V době, kdy se ovce a kozy běhaly, rozhlédl jsem se a ve snu jsem náhle spatřil, že samci, skákající na ovce a kozy, byli pruhovaní, skvrnití a stříkaní.

31:10  Jednou, v době páření dobytka, jsem ve snu pozvedl oči a uviděl berany připouštěné ke stádu. Byli pruhovaní, skvrnití a strakatí.

31:10  I stalo se v době páření ovcí, že jsem pozvedl oči a ve snu jsem viděl, že berani, kteří skákali na ovce, byli pruhovaní, skvrnití a strakatí.

31:10  And it came to pass at the time that the cattle conceived, that I lifted up my eyes, and saw in a dream, and behold, the rams which leaped upon the cattle [were] ring-streaked, speckled, and grizzled.

31:12  And he said: Lift up thy eyes, and see that all the males leaping upon the females, are of divers colours, spotted and speckled. For I have seen all that Laban hath done to thee.

31:12  And he said, Lift up now thine eyes, and see, all the rams which leap upon the cattle are ringstraked, speckled, and grisled: for I have seen all that Laban doeth unto thee.

31:12  I řekl mi: ‚Rozhlédni se a viz: Všichni samci, skákající na ovce a kozy, jsou pruhovaní, skvrnití a stříkaní. Viděl jsem totiž všechno, co ti Lában dělá.

31:12  I řekl: Pozdvihni nyní očí svých a pohleď, že všickni berani scházející se s ovcemi jsou přepásaní na nohách, peřestí a skropení; nebo jsem viděl všecko, co tobě Lában dělá.

31:12  And he said, Lift up now thy eyes and see, all the rams which leap upon the cattle [are] ring-streaked, speckled, and grizzled: for I have seen all that Laban doeth to thee.

31:13  I am the God of Bethel, where thou didst anoint the stone, and make a vow to me. Now therefore arise, and go out of this land, and return into thy native country.

31:13  I am the God of Beth–el, where thou anointedst the pillar, and where thou vowedst a vow unto me: now arise, get thee out from this land, and return unto the land of thy kindred.

31:13  Já jsem Bůh z Bét-elu, kde jsi olejem pomazal posvátný sloup a kde ses mi zavázal slibem. Vyjdi teď hned z této země a navrať se do své rodné země.‘“

31:14  And Rachel and Lia answered: Have we any thing left among the goods and inheritance of our father's house?

31:14  And Rachel and Leah answered and said unto him, Is there yet any portion or inheritance for us in our father’s house?

31:15  Hath he not counted us as strangers, and sold us, and eaten up the price of us?

31:15  Are we not counted of him strangers? for he hath sold us, and hath quite devoured also our money.

31:15  Are we not counted by him strangers; for he hath sold us, and hath quite consumed also our money.

31:16  But God hath taken our father's riches, and delivered them to us, and to our children: wherefore, do all that God hath commanded thee.

31:16  Celé bohatství, které Bůh odňal našemu otci, patří nám a našim synům. Jen udělej všechno, co ti Bůh řekl.“

31:18  And he carried away all his cattle, and all his goods which he had gotten, the cattle of his getting, which he had gotten in Padan–aram, for to go to Isaac his father in the land of Canaan.

31:18  sehnal také všechna svá stáda, vzal všechno nabyté jmění, vlastní stáda získaná v Rovinách aramských, a ubíral se ke svému otci Izákovi do země kenaanské.

31:18  a shromáždil všechna svá stáda. Se vším majetkem, jehož nabyl, s dobytkem vlastního chovu, který získal v Padan-aramu, se vydal ke svému otci Izákovi do kanaánské země.

31:18  a sehnal všechen svůj dobytek a všechen svůj majetek, jejž nabyl, dobytek a zboží, které nabyl v Paddan–aramu, aby šel ke svému otci Izákovi do kenaanské země.

31:18  A pobral všecken dobytek svůj, a všecko jmění své, kteréhož byl dosáhl, dobytek svého vychování, kteréhož nabyl v Pádan Syrské, aby se navrátil k Izákovi otci svému do země Kananejské.

31:18  And he carried away all his cattle, and all his goods which he had gained, the cattle of his getting, which he had gained in Padan-aram; to go to Isaac, his father, in the land of Canaan.

31:18  and he took away all his livestock, and all his possessions which he had gathered, including the livestock which he had gained in Paddan Aram, to go to Isaac his father, to the land of Canaan.

31:19  At that time Laban was gone to shear his sheep, and Rachel stole away her father's idols.
