15:1  Now the lot of the children of Juda by their kindreds was this: From the frontier of Edom, to the desert of Sin southward, and to the uttermost part of the south coast.

15:1  This then was the lot of the tribe of the children of Judah by their families; even to the border of Edom the wilderness of Zin southward was the uttermost part of the south coast.

15:1  The lot for the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families was to the border of Edom, even to the wilderness of Zin southward, at the uttermost part of the south.

15:1  Igitur sors filiorum Judæ per cognationes suas ista fuit : a termino Edom, desertum Sin, contra meridiem, et usque ad extremam partem australis plagæ.

15:2  Its beginning was from the top of the most salt sea, and from the bay thereof, that looketh to the south.

15:2  And their south border was from the shore of the salt sea, from the bay that looketh southward:

15:2  Jejich jižní hranice vede od zálivu na jižním konci Mrtvého moře,

15:2  And their south border was from the shore of the salt-sea, from the bay that looketh southward:

15:2  Initium ejus a summitate maris salsissimi, et a lingua ejus, quæ respicit meridiem.

15:3  And it goeth out towards the ascent of the Scorpion, and passeth on to Sina: and ascendeth into Cadesbarne, and reacheth into Esron, going up to Addar, and compassing Carcaa.

15:3  And it went out to the south side to Maaleh–acrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and ascended up on the south side unto Kadesh–barnea, and passed along to Hezron, and went up to Adar, and fetched a compass to Karkaa:

15:3  Směrem od Negebu se táhne ke Svahu štírů, pokračuje k poušti Sinu a stoupá na jih od Kádeš-barneje, míří k Chesrónu, stoupá k Adáru a odbočuje ke Karce.

15:3  vybíhá na jih k průsmyku Akrabim, pokračuje k Cinu, stoupá jižně od Kádeš-barné, prochází Checronem, vystupuje k Adaru, stáčí se ke Karce

15:3  Vychází od Negebu k ⌈průsmyku Akrabim,⌉ prochází do Sinu a stoupá od jihu ke Kádeš–barneji, prochází Chesrónem, stoupá k Adáru a stáčí se do Karky.

15:3  Odkudž jda na poledne k vrchu Akrabim, přechází Tsin, a táhne se od poledne k Kádesbarne, i přichází až do Ezron, a odtud točí se k Addar, a obchází Karkaha.

15:3  And it went out to the south side to Maaleh-acrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and ascended on the south side to Kadesh-barnea, and passed along to Hezron, and went up to Adar, and fetched a compass to Karkaa:

15:3  and it went out southward of the ascent of Akrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and went up by the south of Kadesh Barnea, and passed along by Hezron, went up to Addar, and turned about to Karka;

15:3  And it went out to the south side to Maalehacrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and ascended up on the south side to Kadeshbarnea, and passed along to Hezron, and went up to Adar, and fetched a compass to Karkaa:

15:3  Egrediturque contra ascensum Scorpionis, et pertransit in Sina : ascenditque in Cadesbarne, et pervenit in Esron, ascendens ad Addar, et circuiens Carcaa,

15:4  And from thence passing along into Asemona, and reaching the torrent of Egypt: and the bounds thereof shall be the great sea, this shall be the limit of the south coast.

15:4  From thence it passed toward Azmon, and went out unto the river of Egypt; and the goings out of that coast were at the sea: this shall be your south coast.

15:4  From there it passed toward Azmon, and went out to the river of Egypt; and the goings out of that coast were at the sea: this shall be your south coast.

15:4  atque inde pertransiens in Asemona, et perveniens ad torrentem Ægypti : eruntque termini ejus mare magnum. Hic erit finis meridianæ plagæ.

15:5  But on the east side the beginning shall be the most salt sea even to the end of the Jordan: and towards the north from the bay of the sea unto the same river Jordan.

15:5  And the east border was the salt sea, even unto the end of Jordan. And their border in the north quarter was from the bay of the sea at the uttermost part of Jordan:

15:5  Východní hranicí bude Solné moře až k ústí Jordánu. Na severu začíná hranice mořským zálivem při ústí Jordánu.

15:5  Východní hranici tvoří Mrtvé moře až po ústí Jordánu. Severní hranice začíná od zálivu, kde se Jordán vlévá do Mrtvého moře,

15:5  The east border was the Salt Sea, even to the end of the Jordan. The border of the north quarter was from the bay of the sea at the end of the Jordan.

15:5  Ab oriente vero erit initium, mare salsissimum usque ad extrema Jordanis : et ea quæ respiciunt ad aquilonem, a lingua maris usque ad eumdem Jordanis fluvium.

15:6  And the border goeth up into Beth-Hagla, and passeth by the north into Beth-Araba: going up to the stone of Boen the son of Ruben.

15:6  And the border went up to Beth–hogla, and passed along by the north of Beth–arabah; and the border went up to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben:

15:6  Odtud stoupá hranice k Bét-chogle a pokračuje severně od Bét-araby. Pak stoupá ke kameni Bohana, syna Rúbenova.

15:6  odkud pak stoupá k Bet-chogle, prochází severně od Bet-aravy a vystupuje ke kameni Rubenova syna Bohana.

15:6  And the border went up to Beth-hogla, and passed along by the north of Beth-arabah; and the border went up to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben:

15:6  The border went up to Beth Hoglah, and passed along by the north of Beth Arabah; and the border went up to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben.

15:6  And the border went up to Bethhogla, and passed along by the north of Betharabah; and the border went up to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben:

15:6  Ascenditque terminus in Beth Hagla, et transit ab aquilone in Beth Araba, ascendens ad lapidem Boën filii Ruben :

15:7  And reaching as far as the borders of Debara from the valley of Achor, and so northward looking towards Galgal, which is opposite to the ascent of Adommin, on the south side of the torrent, and the border passeth the waters that are called the fountain of the sun: and the goings out thereof shall be at the fountain Rogel.

15:7  And the border went up toward Debir from the valley of Achor, and so northward, looking toward Gilgal, that is before the going up to Adummim, which is on the south side of the river: and the border passed toward the waters of En–shemesh, and the goings out thereof were at En–rogel:

15:7  Hranice stoupá dále od doliny Akóru k Debíru a obrací se na sever ke Gilgálu naproti Adumímskému svahu jižně od potoka. Hranice pak pokračuje podél vody Slunečního pramene a vybíhá k prameni Rogelu.

15:7  Hranice pak stoupá z údolí Achor k Debiru a dále na sever, kde se stáčí ke Gelilotu naproti průsmyku Adumim na jižní straně údolí; dále hranice pokračuje podél vod En-šemeše, až dosáhne k En-rogelu.

15:7  A vstupuje ta meze do Dabir od údolí Achor, a na půlnoci chýlí se k Galgala, kteréž jest naproti vcházení do Adomim, jenž jest údolí tomu ku poledni, a přechází k vodám Ensemes, a skonává se u studnice Rogel.

15:7  And the border went up towards Debir from the valley of Achor, and so northward looking towards Gilgal, that [is] before the going up to Adummim, which [is] on the south side of the river: and the border passed towards the waters of En-shemesh, and the borders of it were at En-rogel:

15:7  The border went up to Debir from the valley of Achor, and so northward, looking toward Gilgal, that is over against the ascent of Adummim, which is on the south side of the river. The border passed along to the waters of En Shemesh, and ended at En Rogel.

15:7  And the border went up toward Debir from the valley of Achor, and so northward, looking toward Gilgal, that is before the going up to Adummim, which is on the south side of the river: and the border passed toward the waters of Enshemesh, and the goings out thereof were at Enrogel:

15:7  et tendens usque ad terminos Debera de valle Achor, contra aquilonem respiciens Galgala, quæ est ex adverso ascensionis Adommim, ab australi parte torrentis : transitque aquas, quæ vocantur fons solis : et erunt exitus ejus ad fontem Rogel.

15:8  And it goeth up by the valley of the son of Ennom on the side of the Jebusite towards the south, the same is Jerusalem: and thence ascending to the top of the mountain, which is over against Geennom to the west in the end of the valley of Raphaim, northward.

15:8  And the border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the south side of the Jebusite; the same is Jerusalem: and the border went up to the top of the mountain that lieth before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the end of the valley of the giants northward:

15:8  Hranice potom stoupá k Údolí syna Hinómova jižně od skalního hřebenu jebúsejského, což je Jeruzalém, a vystupuje na vrcholek hory, která na západě leží proti Údolí hinómskému a je na severním konci doliny Refájců.

15:8  And the border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom, to the south side of the Jebusite; the same [is] Jerusalem: and the border went up to the top of the mountain that [lieth] before the valley of Hinnom westward, which [is] at the end of the valley of the giants northward:

15:8  The border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom to the side of the Jebusite southward (the same is Jerusalem); and the border went up to the top of the mountain that lies before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the farthest part of the valley of Rephaim northward.

15:8  And the border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom to the south side of the Jebusite; the same is Jerusalem: and the border went up to the top of the mountain that lies before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the end of the valley of the giants northward:

15:8  Ascenditque per convallem filii Ennom ex latere Jebusæi ad meridiem, hæc est Jerusalem : et inde se erigens ad verticem montis, qui est contra Geennom ad occidentem in summitate vallis Raphaim contra aquilonem :

15:9  And it passeth on from the top of the mountain to the fountain of the water of Nephtoa: and reacheth to the towns of mount Ephron: and it bendeth towards Baala, which is Cariathiarim, that is to say, the city of the woods.

15:9  And the border was drawn from the top of the hill unto the fountain of the water of Nephtoah, and went out to the cities of mount Ephron; and the border was drawn to Baalah, which is Kirjath–jearim:

15:9  Od vrcholu hory zabočuje hranice k prameni vod Neftóachu a vede k městům pohoří Efrónu; poté zabočuje k Baale, to je Kirjat-jearímu.

15:9  And the border was drawn from the top of the hill to the fountain of the water of Nephtoah, and went out to the cities of mount Ephron; and the border was drawn to Baalah, which [is] Kirjath-jearim:

15:9  The border extended from the top of the mountain to the spring of the waters of Nephtoah, and went out to the cities of Mount Ephron; and the border extended to Baalah (the same is Kiriath Jearim);

15:9  And the border was drawn from the top of the hill to the fountain of the water of Nephtoah, and went out to the cities of mount Ephron; and the border was drawn to Baalah, which is Kirjathjearim:

15:9  pertransitque a vertice montis usque ad fontem aquæ Nephtoa : et pervenit usque ad vicos montis Ephron : inclinaturque in Baala, quæ est Cariathiarim, id est, urbs silvarum.

15:10  And it compasseth from Baala westward unto mount Seir: and passeth by the side of mount Jarim to the north into Cheslon: and goeth down into Bethsames, and passeth into Thamna.

15:10  And the border compassed from Baalah westward unto mount Seir, and passed along unto the side of mount Jearim, which is Chesalon, on the north side, and went down to Beth–shemesh, and passed on to Timnah:

15:10  Zde hranice odbočuje od Baaly na západ k hoře Seíru a pokračuje od severu ke skalnímu hřebenu Lesní hory, to je Kesalónu, sestupuje od Bét-šemeše a pokračuje k Timně.

15:10  and the border turned about from Baalah westward to Mount Seir, and passed along to the side of Mount Jearim on the north (the same is Chesalon), and went down to Beth Shemesh, and passed along by Timnah;

15:10  And the border compassed from Baalah westward to mount Seir, and passed along to the side of mount Jearim, which is Chesalon, on the north side, and went down to Bethshemesh, and passed on to Timnah:

15:10  Et circuit de Baala contra occidentem, usque ad montem Seir : transitque juxta latus montis Jarim ad aquilonem in Cheslon : et descendit in Bethsames, transitque in Thamna.

15:11  And reacheth northward to a part of Accaron at the side: and bendeth to Sechrona, and passeth mount Baala: and cometh into Jebneel, and is bounded westward with the great sea.

15:11  And the border went out unto the side of Ekron northward: and the border was drawn to Shicron, and passed along to mount Baalah, and went out unto Jabneel; and the goings out of the border were at the sea.

15:11  Potom hranice vede ke skalnímu hřebenu Ekrónu na severu od města a zabočuje k Šikerónu, pokračuje k Baalské hoře a vede k Jabneelu; hranice vybíhá až k moři.

15:11  Potom hranice míří k severnímu svahu Ekronu, vede k Šikeronu, přechází horu Baala a pokračuje na Jabneel, než dosáhne k moři.

15:11  And the border went out to the side of Ekron northward: and the border was drawn to Shicron, and passed along to mount Baalah, and went out to Jabneel; and the terminations of the border were at the sea.

15:11  and the border went out to the side of Ekron northward; and the border extended to Shikkeron, and passed along to Mount Baalah, and went out at Jabneel; and the goings out of the border were at the sea.

15:11  And the border went out to the side of Ekron northward: and the border was drawn to Shicron, and passed along to mount Baalah, and went out to Jabneel; and the goings out of the border were at the sea.

15:11  Et pervenit contra aquilonem partis Accaron ex latere : inclinaturque Sechrona, et transit montem Baala : pervenitque in Jebneel, et magni maris contra occidentem fine concluditur.

15:12  These are the borders round about of the children of Juda in their kindreds.

15:12  And the west border was to the great sea, and the coast thereof. This is the coast of the children of Judah round about according to their families.

15:13  But to Caleb the son of Jephone he gave a portion in the midst of the children of Juda, as the Lord had commanded him: Cariath-Arbe the father of Enac, which is Hebron.

15:13  And unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a part among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of the Lord to Joshua, even the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron.

15:13  To Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a portion among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of the Lord to Joshua, even Kiriath Arba, named after the father of Anak (the same is Hebron).

15:13  And to Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a part among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of the LORD to Joshua, even the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron.

15:13  Caleb vero filio Jephone dedit partem in medio filiorum Juda, sicut præceperat ei Dominus : Cariath Arbe patris Enac, ipsa est Hebron.

15:14  And Caleb destroyed out of it the three sons of Enac, Sesai and Ahiman, and Tholmai of the race of Enac.

15:14  And Caleb drove thence the three sons of Anak, Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the children of Anak.

15:15  And going up from thence he came to the inhabitants of Dabir, which before was called Cariath-Sepher, that is to say, the city of letters.

15:15  And he went up thence to the inhabitants of Debir: and the name of Debir before was Kirjath–sepher.

15:15  Odtud pak táhl vzhůru proti obyvatelům Debíru; Debír se předtím jmenoval Kírjat-sefer (to je Město knihy).
